Hi, I'm Sindhu!
I'm a product designer and creative technologist with a background in Electronics and Communication Engineering, and an MFA in Design & Technology from Parsons School of Design.I design and build systems that connect people through more than just a screen, from a walk-in installation that turns live internet traffic into sound and projection, to a coaching platform used across two very different user roles, to a gesture-recognition tool that lets strangers tell stories without words.
My process moves between disciplines on purpose: user research and prototyping in Figma, physical builds with Raspberry Pi and Arduino, and machine learning in PyTorch and Keras.
I've shown work at MIT Reality Hack (Art Grant), Maker Faire NYC, and Boston's Museum of Science, where an exhibit I designed reached 200+ visitors and a 93% engagement rate.
Two semesters as a Teaching Assistant at The New School taught me how to explain complex, technical ideas clearly which is a skill that shows up in how I write about my own work, too.
I'm currently looking for full-time roles in product design, creative technology, and experiential design.
